Mikel E. Goldblatt currently works as a senior project leader with Environmental Management
Corporation (EMC). He has worked in the water and wastewater treatment industry for over twenty
years, consulting, providing startup support, troubleshooting, training, and managing a water and
wastewater treatment products portfolio.
He received BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts
and from Clemson University, respectively. He is a registered professional engineer (PE) and a
licensed wastewater plant operator (LO) in Pennsylvania, and is certified as a Quality Six Sigma
Black Belt (CSSBB).
While serving in a variety of roles, the main focus of his career has been in solving customer water
systems problems, mainly in the industrial sector. He is an empathic listener, analytical thinker
and data driven problem solver with a hands-on, tenacious troubleshooting approach. He takes
great pains to provide practical, realistic solutions, often providing innovative, short term, easily
implemented fixes, while mapping longer term root problem eradication paths.
Mr. Goldblatt has made visits to over 500 sites in North and South America to take part in or lead

He has trained over 1000 technical sales people in water and wastewater treatment unit
operations and in chemical applications and has conducted many general and client site-focused
water treatment training seminars. He is a Pennsylvania Department of Environmental
Protection-certified training provider.
